Alfred J. Gawlik, JR., also known as "Fred," passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 66 Years old after a long brave fight with a chronic respiratory condition.

During his lifetime, he grew up in Whitman, MA and was a Local Member Iron Worker.

Fred enjoyed boating on Onset Bay and camping at Myles Standish State Forest (Charge Pond) in Plymouth, MA. He loved spending his time listening to loud music and going to concerts.

Fred was born to the late Alfred J. Gawlik, Sr. and to Helen C. Gawlik (Romaniecki) in Cambridge, MA on July 26, 1954.

Fred was the beloved brother of Peter A. Gawlik and Diane M. Reed of Marshfield, MA.

Fred is survived by his three children who he loved dearly. His two daughters Amanda and Kaitlynn Gawlik and his only son, Alfred J. Gawlik III, also known as, "Jonny."

He also leaves behind three grandchildren and four nieces and a nephew.

A Memorial and Prayer service will take place on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 11AM to 1 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St, Marshfield MA 02050.

Fred's ashes will be laid to rest alongside his parents in the spring.
