Alfred R. Lenardson, of Middleboro, Great Barrington, and Marshfield passed away May 10, 2022 at the age of 88.

Alfred was born on November 2, 1933 in Boston at the New England Hospital, to Florence and Alfred Lenardson. He grew up in Middleboro and graduated from Catholic High School. He attended Seminary School but chose instead to become Headmaster at Marlboro Academy. He also was a writer at the Berkshire Eagle before establishing Ice House Photography Studios with his friend Edgar Zukauskas in Mill River, Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

Alfred was retired and lived with his sister Patricia Ford in Marshfield for two years before he moved to Southwood Nursing Home.

He leaves his sister, Patricia Ford of Marshfield, nephew Harvey Ford and his wife Laura, nieces Amy White and her husband Jeff, and Emily Zibinskis and her husband Dan, along with great-nieces Lydia Clemens and her husband Alex, Natalie Zibinskas, and nephews Sam and Bennett Ford, Wheeler White, and Grady Zibinskas, along with great-great nephew Grayson and great-great niece Millie. Al also leaves his foster son, James Graham.

There will be a Funeral Mass at Assumption Church in Marshfield at 10:00 a.m. on May 27, 2022. He will be buried with his parents in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Dennisport.
