Alice (Peckham) Rugani, a long-time resident of Marshfield, passed away on January 23, 2020 at the Bay Pointe Nursing Center in Brockton at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Louis G. Rugani, Alice leaves her children, Louis G. Rugani, Jr., of Scituate and Gina Sasso of Spring Hill, TN and 5 grandchildren.

Alice was an excellent cook who also enjoyed reading, but loved nothing more than the comfort of her home and time spent with family. She was well known to residents in Green Harbor and Humarock, where she worked for many years as a U. S. Postal Clerk. To family and friends, she was known as "one tough cookie" who carried on as a young widow raising her children and, beginning in her early 70's, fought a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. May you now rest in peace, Alice - you certainly earned it.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Marshfield Hills Cemetery.
