Emanuel, Anastasia (Stacie), died peacefully at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham on May 22, 2016 at the young age of 54 years old. She was the beloved daughter of Mildred (Coniaris) Emanuel and the late James N. Emanuel. Stacie is also survived by her three sisters, Kathy O'Donnell and her husband Chip of Marshfield, Tina Moss and her husband Jonathan of Marshfield, and Jamie Boudreau and her husband Greg of Medford. Stacie cherished her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them: Nicole and her husband Patrick, Zachary, Sarah, Abigail, Jack and Christopher. To them Stacie will always be remembered as a special Auntie. Stacie also leaves many loving and supporting friends whom she cared for deeply.
Stacie graduated from Marshfield High School in 1979 and received an Associate's Degree from Massasoit Community College. She was a longtime, dedicated employee of Semi Source, Inc. in Hingham. She also tended bar for many years at Trattoria San Pietro in Norwell. Stacie formed many friendships with her Semi Source and San Pietro coworkers. She was especially grateful for the laughs, stories and special moments she spent with her San Pietro customers.
There are no words to describe how grateful we are for all of the amazing medical care Stacie received. She was cared for by Dr. Ursula Matulonis, Dr. Neil Horowitz, Cathy Early, NP, and their Oncology team at Dana Farber Cancer Institute for the past eight years; their support lifted her, inspired her, and comforted her. Recently, the incredible teams at South Shore Hospital Emerson 6th Floor and the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham embraced Stacie and her family with loving care in their kind and gentle way; we are thankful for their endless support.
Stacie fought with courage and grace, living her life, and celebrating many wonderful moments.
Visiting hours to honor Stacie and to share our wonderful memories will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield, on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
