Andre Stephen Ares passed away unexpectedly on July 17th. Born in 1963 in Worcester, Massachusetts, he grew up in Westborough and made a number of close friends while growing up there who carried over into the next stage of his life in Brant Rock/Marshfield.

Andre moved to Brant Rock on the South Shore with his family after they sold their long time Westborough family home in the early '90's. He was not a sentimental person about the move and made an easy transition into the Fishing/lobstering life and community. He was also a seasoned carpenter who did excellent work on many projects, large and small on the South Shore.

Andre is predeceased by his father, Richard J. Ares, who passed in 2015, and his mother, Janet S. Ares who passed in 2018.

He leaves behind his brother, Gregory Ares, and sister-in-law Ruth Anne Ares, of Auburn, Massachusetts as well as many friends in the close-knit fishing and lobstering community in Brant Rock. We are all heartbroken with the loss.

The love and support that this community has shown for Andre and his remaining family in this time of loss is heartfelt and appreciated.
