Obituary
Morse, Andrea J. (Abbondanza) 65 of Plymouth passed away on January 30th, 2015. Beloved wife of Douglas W. Morse. Devoted mother of the late Brendan M. Zayko. Loving daughter of Eileen M. Abbondanza-Sealund and her husband Roger of Marshfield and the late Dante Abbondanza. Sister of David Abbondanza and his wife Elaine (Travers) of Pinckney, MI. Aunt of Michael, his wife Karen, Shawn, his wife Melissa and Kristen Abbondanza. Great aunt of Molly & Lucy Abbondanza and Logan & Peri MacAllister. Sister of Karen Sealund, Dan Jackson and their sons Kenneth Flynn and Evan Jackson, and sister of Kevin Sealund and his wife Nancy, all of Duxbury.
Andrea was born January 23rd, 1950 at NE Baptist Hospital in Boston. She grew up in Marshfield and was long time resident of Plymouth. She attended Marshfield High School graduating in 1968. Andrea also attended Bay State Jr. College and Mass Bay Community College.
Andrea worked at Group Insurance Service Center, Inc. in Pembroke beginning in 1983, where she met her husband Douglas. She worked in several departments over the years and most recently managed the COBRA and Short Term Disability Administration. She was an integral part of the GISC family.
Andrea's love for her family was infinite. She was a passionate caretaker of her family, home and garden. She loved spending time with her great nieces and nephew. Andrea loved yoga, fitness and especially long walks with Doug and their beloved dog Egor. She was a devoted friend whose kindness and generosity of spirit were truly genuine. She was a beautiful and elegant soul who brought joy and light to everyone she touched.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield on Thursday February 5, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 6, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
