On Sunday March 1, 2020 Angelina Giampietro, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 93 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 11, 1926 to Filipo and Lillian Pagano. Angie married Anthony Giampietro and they had two daughters, Linda and Diane. Angie was widowed at a young age, but always worked extremely hard to take care of her daughters. She worked at Howard Johnson's factory in Quincy, walked several miles to and from work daily and made sure her daughters were well cared for. Family was the most important thing to Angie, and therefore her grandchildren were a large part of her life. She spent a lot of time caring for her 5 grandchildren, which was what made her most happy. She also enjoyed cooking and her Pizzelle's were a favorite amongst everyone. Angie is survived by her daughters Linda Haglund and Diane Dever.; sons-in-law Russell Haglund and Joseph Dever.; grandchildren, Alicia, Jeffrey, Matthew, Garrett and Jacqueline.; great-grandchildren, Angelina, Alexander, Anthony, Juliana and Aurora.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 392 Hanover Street in Hanover, at 10am this Friday March 6th.
