Ann M. Doherty passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on March 27, 2022 at the incredible age of 99. Born on November 23, 1922 to the late John Harrington and Mary Burns. She is predeceased by her loving husband of thirty years John F. Doherty.

She leaves behind six children Ann Gill and her late husband Thomas, Helen Coen and her husband Francis, John Doherty and his wife Elizabeth, Maureen Galvin, Paul Doherty and his wife Mary, and Mary Doherty. She also leaves behind her beloved 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren (soon to be 17).

After years of enjoying summer beach trips, Ann and John decided to pack up their six children and make the move from Dorchester to Marshfield. Throughout the years the family made countless memories between Holly Hill and Ocean Drive. As her children grew and started having children of their own, Ann took on a new title and became known to many as Ganny. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, sitting on Humarock beach and sending care packages to her grandchildren full of her infamous cookies and brownies.

Due to the family's request the funeral service will be private.
