Anne Marie (Burns) Laskey, 94, of Village at Proprietors Green passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 surrounded by family.

Anne was born on May 7, 1928 in Andover, MA to the late Joseph and Catherine (Horne) Burns. She was a graduate of Brighton High School and attended Mt. Ida College. A former resident of Lynn, MA; Hanover, MA; Madison, NH and Meredith, NH, Anne held a variety of positions throughout her working life. Probably her favorite occupation was as a real estate broker throughout the South Shore of Massachusetts – she seemed to know every street and landmark even after moving back to the area after many years in New Hampshire. She had many hobbies including attending craft shows, sewing and golfing.

Anne was married to the love of her life, Richard ("Dick") H. Laskey, who predeceased her in 2017. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on October 18, 2022. Together they enjoyed many trips and cruises over the years to the Caribbean. Anne took immense pride and joy in her family and was a loving and devoted Mom and "Grammie". Her family has many memories of summers together at the cottage in New Hampshire. She is survived by three daughters, Adrianne Ting and her husband Peter of Dover, MA, Andrea Opachinski and her husband Peter of Kingston, MA, and Barbara Andersen and her husband Robert of Hadley, MA; and five grandchildren, Lindsay Ting (Michael Drewniak), Laura Ting, Lauren Chalmers (Andrew), Zachary Andersen, and Benjamin Andersen. She also leaves behind her beloved mini dachshund, Lavender. In addition to her parents, Anne is predeceased by her brothers John Burns, Joseph Burns, Thomas Burns, and Donald Burns and her sisters Cathleen Elmer and Constance Silverman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield, MA.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 11:00 am in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. There will be no calling hours.
