Murphy, Anne T. (Tumulty) of Duxbury, formerly of Norwood, entered into eternal peace on May 11th at the age of 96 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Murphy, Sr. Devoted mother of Robert and Dee Dee Murphy of Duxbury, Gerard and Donna Murphy of Walpole, Marianne and Marilyn Murphy of Bellingham, Marcia and Al Fuccillo of North Attleboro and the late Thomas F. Murphy, Jr. of Norwood. Cherished Grandma of Lindsay, Kelly, Thomas III (Murphy), Laura, Brad and Tommy (Fuccillo). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on many trips to Ireland and she loved spending summer days at Duxbury Beach and Mayflower Beach on Cape Cod. She was noted for her baking skills especially when it came to her famous banana and Irish breads. She also made many friends at The Village at Duxbury and would be heard often stating "I never had it so good!" She will be sorely missed. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, May 15, at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church in Duxbury at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
