Anne (Cleary) Roche, 82, longtime resident of Marshfield, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, May 20, 2016. Beloved wife of 58 years of the late Donald J. Roche, she was the only child of the late Clement and Carmel (Rose) Cleary. Dear and devoted mother to Donald Roche Jr. and his wife Phyllis of Plainville, Mary Loftus and her partner John Keane of North Weymouth, Robert Roche of Marshfield, and the late baby Susanne Roche. Loving Grandmother of Katherine Loftus and her husband Joseph Talbot, Bridget Mongeau and her husband Brian of Seattle, WA, Patrick Loftus and his wife Kristin of Liverpool, NY, and Caroline Roche of Wrentham.

Anne was a graduate of the Belmont High School Class of 1951 and of the Catherine Laboure School of Nursing, She was an avid reader, loved spending time at her second home in Bridgton (affectionately called "Yea Maine") and most of all was devoted to her family, and loved spending time with them and their lifelong friends on Woodlawn Circle.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, May 25, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield.
