Anne Marie Verrocchi,81, of Brant Rock passed away peacefully on January 18th after a long illness. Anne is the daughter of the late Eva and Sante Verrocchi and the sister of the late Dorothea Parziale. Anne is also survived by her nieces, Nannette (Parziale) LaCasse and her daughters, Gina and Stephani; Sandra (Parziale) Denty, her husband Bill and their children Billy and Kali; and her brother-in-law, Alfred Parziale. Anne had a special place in her heart for her dear friends, Carol Jennings and Doris Dubosky. Anne came to Brant Rock in1953 when her parents built the Brant Rock Supermarket. She worked alongside her parents until they sold the market and retired in1969. Anne went to work as the Head Copywriter for Stop & Shop Supermarkets in Boston. Anne loved the beach, loved to cook and was an avid Boston sports fan. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
