Anne Marie (Dunbar) (Wilcox) White of Marshfield, cherished wife of Dr. Frederick J White, Jr., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on December 26, 2021.

Anne was mother to many, not the least of whom were her children: Christopher Wilcox, and his wife Nicole, Anthony Wilcox and his wife Anna, Claudia Wilcox and her partner David, and Adrianne Wilcox and her longtime partner Matthew. She also leaves behind her sister Fran Gay, as well as her much-loved step children Fred, Ellen, Stephen and Dennis and their many children. and was the proud grandmother of Myles Phillips-Wilcox and his sister Sarah Phillips. She is predeceased by her stepson Michael and friend and former husband Robert Wilcox.

Originally from Somerville, MA, Anne received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts college of Art, and her Master's Degree from Boston Architectural Center.

Anne was a former runner, and a lifetime champion of all creatures large and small, brown or blue, gay or straight, fin or fur. She has left pieces of her heart in Maine, Boston, the track at Saratoga, the museums of Paris, and the tree-lined streets of Brooklyn.

Anne will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.

A Memorial Reception will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Marshfield Country Club, 515 Moraine Street in Marshfield.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth MA 02360.
