Annetta M. (Bogni) Burchill of Marshfield passed away on July 25, 2022 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of John P. "Bill" Burchill; loving mother of Billy Burchill and his wife Maura of Bourne and Kathleen (Burchill) Valenti and her husband Michael Valenti of Bolton, MA; cherished grandmother of David, Robert, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Michael, Brianna Borek (husband Brian) and great-grandchildren Julianne, David, Joseph, Ledger, and Kennedy. Daughter of the late Louis G. and Alice R. (DiMarzio) Bogni, she was the dear sister of Alice Conoly and her husband Jack, Louise Tomasello and her husband Joseph, and Diane Mulligan and her husband Tom, and leaves many nieces and nephews.

Annetta had one priority in her life, her family. She was the oldest of four sisters that grew up together in Readville MA. Through childhood and adulthood, their bond was unbreakable. As a teenager she found the love of her life in Bill and went on to spend over 60 years by his side. More than just husband and wife, they were best friends. They enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends, and celebrating with family, as long as they could do it together. Netta was an accomplished chef and baker who loved sharing her creations with all who entered her home. Netta was the crown champion of being the fun Nana and made all of her grandchildren feel like "the favorite." Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her, and there are so many.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street (Rte. 3A) in Marshfield.
