Simmons, Arthur G., of Marshfield, passed away on June 10, 2015 at the age of 78. Loving husband of Maureen (White) Simmons, Arthur is also survived by his children Christopher and Michelle Simmons of Pembroke, Donald and Christina Simmons of Pembroke, Corey and Nicole Simmons of Marshfield, grandchildren Casey, Morgan, Gwen, Jamie, Taylor and Corey. Arthur also leaves a brother Robert Simmons of Carver, and was predeceased by his brothers Robert Simmons, Charles Simmons, and sisters Barbara Smith and Dorothy Peters.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Arthur was the former owner of the Marshfield Texaco and was a past member of the Marshfield Elks. Arthur was a man devoted to his family and spent most of his time when not working at his children's sporting events.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte 139, Marshfield, with a service at the funeral home on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
