Audrey M. (Nielsen) McKeever, of Marshfield, passed away on October 15, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved mother of Maureen (Kelly) Phillips and her husband Bert of Norwell; grandmother of Mollie Robbins and her husband Martin of Norwell and Ryanne Gromatzky and her husband Daniel of Fountain, CO; great-grandmother of Matthew and Miles Robbins and Jasper Gromatzky; sister of Frederick Nielsen of Wareham and the late Rick, Kenneth, Arthur and Carl Nielsen.  Audrey leaves a sister in-law, Phyllis Nielsen of Marshfield, her nieces Karen Harght, Theresa E. Nielsen, Phyllis Shea, and many nephews. She was predeceased by her dear friend, Ernie Bianchi.

Audrey was a life-long resident of Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1952 and enjoyed a long and successful career in the Insurance industry, notably with the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston. Audrey's many professional accomplishments included a fellowship at the Life Management Institute and as a recipient of the Liberty Mutual RISE Award in 1991. Closer to her beloved home town of Marshfield, Audrey was a member of the Green Harbor Yacht Club, served as a member of the Planning Board, and was past Chairman of the Marshfield Beautification Committee.  She was instrumental in organizing "Daffodil Day".  Audrey was also involved in the planning of the Senior Center and is Emeritus Status for the Marshfield COA.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 21, 2017 in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in the Winslow Cemetery in Marshfield.
