Austin J. Hale of Marshfield passed away on October 4, 2020 at the age of 28. He was the beloved son of Keith and Toni (Glod) Hale and brother of Anthony and Alivia, all of Marshfield. Austin also leaves his grandparents Ruth Hale and Kenneth and Linda Glod, and his niece Sophie, whom he adored.
Austin was the type of person who would excel at anything he put his mind too and became well known in the skate scene with his effortless style and control of the board, it was something best experienced in person. Although he left some videos of his skating behind they don't begin to show just how much talent he had with the board. Austin poured his heart and soul into his craft and no matter how good he got over the years he was always humble and grateful to skate with whoever, wherever, whenever. This attitude would lead him on many journeys throughout the years and provided him with life-long friendships.
On and off the board you would always find Austin making people laugh. But as goofy as he could be he would always be down for a conversation about life, love, or the universe. Austin's heart was big and he loved his friends, family, and most of all his niece Sophia who he lovingly called "Sophie." Watching him on a skateboard always made Sophia burst into laughter. Although he is gone much too soon Austin will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have known him.
