Chaisson, Barbara L. (Cody) of Marshfield, passed away on December 12, 2014 at the age of 86. Wife of the late James J. Chaisson and daughter of the late William P. and Kathryn M. (Murphy) Cody, Barbara is survived by her loving children James W. and Christine Chaisson of Marshfield, Mary K. and David Carini of Abington, Barbara C. Chaisson, Denise A. Chaisson, and David A. Chaisson, all of Marshfield. Cherished grandmother to Stephanie, Matthew, Emily, Angela, Rosemary, Michael, Kelli, and David, great-grandmother to Madison and Tyler. Barbara is also survived by her two step-sisters, Patricia Hurst and Judith Pence of California.
A graduate of Saint Joseph's Academy in Roxbury and a faithful member of the Sodality at Saint Christine's Church in Marshfield, Barbara was dedicated to her home and her family. She will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 16 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield MA.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17 at 9:00 AM at Saint Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street (Rte 3A) Marshfield MA.
Interment at Couch Cemetery, Union Street, Marshfield.
