Barbara A. (Rouleau) Erlandson, 89 of Quincy, passed peacefully on January 13, 2023, one day shy of her 90th birthday. She was born in Quincy on January 14, 1933, daughter of the late Henry and Martha Rouleau of Quincy. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Richard "Dick" Erlandson and her sister Pat Bishop. She worked for many years in adminstration at Boston Gear Works, SX Industries, and Hancock Assisted Living.

Barabara was known for the "Home" that everyone visited and for being the on-site Property Manager overseeing the tenants and townhouses for the SX Industries group. She was also known for having large holiday gatherings held on the properties she managed. Barbara had many friends and famiy who would travel far to be part of the family gatherings. Her husband built a large Gazebo that everyone would claim their seat early for the festivities. She loved playing cards regularly with her children, sister, niece, and nephews. Her favorite games were Bid Whist, Rummy, and Cribbage to name a few. She was known for her beautiful hand-crocheted Afghans that were a prized gift to many.

Barbara leaves behind her loving children Robert Lambert and his wife Christine, Charles Lambert, Kathy Vining, and sister Marilyn Adams and her family of Quincy. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Chad, and Leah, and several nieces and nephews.

A burial and celebration of life service will be held in the Spring. Her ashes will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Dickie Erlandson, in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
