Barbara F. Rutledge, 89 years, wife of the recently deceased Alexander Rutledge of Marshfield, died Friday, Nov. 2 after a brief illness. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Hazel and William Flahive. After high school, Mrs. Rutledge attended the New England School of Art. With her late husband, Barbara established the real estate firm of Rutledge and Carlisle and Gallery 360. She was an avid enthusiast of all sports, taking particular interest in the Red Sox. In latter years she enjoyed golf and the friends she made through the game. Survivors include her brother Walter Flahive of California, her son Jeffrey Rutledge of Marshfield, daughter Leslie Hawkins of Halifax, grandchildren James and Bradford Myers of Medway, Amy Francis of Marlboro and four great grandchildren.
