MacRae, Barbara A , of Marshfield passed into the loving arms of God on January 20, 2021 after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife of the late Hollis R MacRae , Jr. Mother of Cheryl MacRae Campo (David) , Roderick MacRae ( Michelle) , Reginald MacRae ( Lucy) and the late Hollis R P MacRae 3rd. Beloved grandmother to Holly Kalinowski (Jim) , Matthew Barclay, Mary Barclay , Camryn MacRae, and Connor MacRae. Sister to Robert Gauthier of VA, Richard Letourneau of CT and the late Roland Gauthier. Barbara leaves behind 9 great grandchildren whom she knew and loved as well as many wonderful, caring nieces and nephews. Born as Audrey Dorothy Emery to Rita Emery and Joseph A Letourneau, Barbara was adopted as a toddler by Emile and Edna Mae Gauthier who lovingly raised her to adulthood.

Barbara was an amazing, loving mother and good friend to all of her children and their children. Barbara leaves behind her Carmelite brothers and sisters with whom she celebrated her faith in God. Barbara served her community for many years as a Pastoral Associate at St Christine's Parish.
Our family would like to thank friends and neighbors for all their love and support during her later years and prolonged illness.
We are so grateful for the time we had with our mother, Barbara. We have time, we spend time, we find time, we make time , but there never is enough time. Time in is an intangible that belongs to none of us. We only borrow it.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield. Burial will be private.
