Barbara Marshall passed away at the age of 69 about a week shy of her 70th birthday.

Barbara is survived by her sons and daughters in laws Karen and Daniel Marshall and Samantha and Matthew Marshall. Three Sisters Norma Jean Godwin, Janet Halter Brancaccio, and Maryann Murphy. Three grandchildren, Daisha Marshall, Randy Marshall, Mason Marshall and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Barbara grew up in Quincy Massachusetts and was a proud Quincy girl! She was a graduate of Quincy High school class of 1974. Barbara worked majority of her life in human services and cared deeply for the people she supported. A pioneer in specialized home care. Barbara opened her home to many individuals she supported throughout her career. Barbara later in life worked at Stop & Shop at the deli and had the best stories! Better known as Brab among her coworkers, Barbara became a favorite among team members and coworkers that became friends.

Barbara had a love of flying and airplanes. One of her favorite things was to watch the planes take off and land at Plymouth airport. She would like to talk about flying and knew all the lingo. She had a love for music and loved to dance. Barbara was the life of the party everywhere she went. It wasn’t unusual to find Barbara at the local watering hole on a Friday or Saturday night dancing the night away! She lived life to the fullest and knew how to have fun. She loved her family and loved spending time with her three sisters.

Barbara raised her family in Marshfield Massachusetts footsteps from Rexham Beach. These were the good old days for Barbara and her family! She had a love for the ocean and spent many days swimming and sunbathing with friends and family on the Marshfield shore. Barbara enjoyed the outdoors and spent many summers in New Hampshire at Cold Springs Campground with her family. Barbara love of the ocean landed her on Cape where she lived her last years of her life.

Barbara was an excellent cook and loved cooking for many people. She loved watching everyone eat this brought great joy to Barbara. She wouldn’t eat till she knew everyone was full and happy. Pasta and meatballs was a staple in the Marshall household and Barbara loved feeding her son’s and their friends.

There will be a mass and a celebration of life at a later date.
