Barbara (Stahl) McCahon (1927-2019) entered into the "Gates of Heaven" on February 23rd with family members at her side at the age of 91. She was a devoted Servant of Jesus Christ Our Lord. She was a graduate of The New England Baptist School of Nursing and worked at Milton Hospital from 1973 until her retirement. She was the youngest daughter of Karl and Wilhelmina (Menslage) Stahl of South Boston. She was predeceased by her siblings; Elsie Wood, Audrey Stahl, Doris Davidson, Karl Stahl, Walter Stahl, Leonard Stahl.

She was the wife of the late Charles Dam of Marshfield, and later the wife of the late David McCahon of Wellesley.

She is survived by her daughter-in- law Deborah Holt and husband David of New Hampshire, daughter-in- law Shirley Smith and husband Kendall of Marshfield, daughter Audrey Taylor and husband Richard of Marshfield, daughter Karen Hogrefe and husband Thomas of Connecticut, son Craig Dam of Marshfield, and son Gary Dam of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her stepson Bradford Jacobson of New Hampshire, and son Jonathan Dam of Marshfield.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in The First Congregational Church, 1981 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Marshfield.
