Barbara H. (Ranck) Rielly of Duxbury passed away on July 16, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Donald J. Rielly; loving mother of Donald J. Rielly, Jr. and his wife Eileen of North Carolina, Paul Rielly and his wife Susan of Plymouth, and Stephen Rielly and his wife Diane of Abington; dear grandmother of Christopher, Brendan, Kathryn, Shannon, Patrick, Kaitlyn, and Erin Rielly and great-grandmother of Cooper, Nora, and Bryson Maggio, and Shelly and Mara Rielly. She was daughter of the late Frederick and Thelma (Upton) Ranck and sister of the late Dorothy Allen and Paul Ranck.

Barbara worked as a Manager for Filene's and Lord & Taylor stores for 20 years, then took a reprieve before returning to the workforce as an Administrator for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates (formerly Harvard Pilgrim) in Braintree until her retirement. She and Donald enjoyed extensive travel across the globe, including trips to Ireland, Thailand, Australia, and the islands of Bali, Java, and Singapore. Barbara was adept at cross stitch and was known for gifting her beautiful handiwork to friends and family at Christmastime. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Parish Church, 601 Tremont Street in Duxbury. Barbara will be laid to rest in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
