Barbara (Travers) Roche of Marshfield passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Patrick E. Roche; mother of Patrick E. "Rick" Roche, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Westwood and Edward G. "Eddie" Roche and his wife Denise Nicoli of Duxbury. Daughter of the late Peter and Ellen (Doyle) Travers, she is predeceased by her siblings Peter Travers, Robert Travers, Paul Travers, Audrey Travers, May Courtemanche, Helen Travers, and Edward Travers. She leaves many nieces and nephews as well as two loving grandchildren, Caitlin and Christopher Roche, and two great granddaughters, Elsie and Maeve McCafferty.

Barbara ended her earthly journey on the day before Thanksgiving, beginning her reunion with her late loving husband Pat. The two can now continue the strong partnership that built so many loving and caring institutions beginning with their family and extended to organizations they loved and cared for during their many years together. Her sons Rick and Ed will miss her but are thankful for her lifelong direction and support.

Barbara's faith was strong her whole life and will be celebrated with services on Monday, December 1, 2025, all being held at St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield. Visiting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude with a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon, followed by burial in the Couch Memorial Cemetery, Union Street in Marshfield.
