Barbara Evelyn Winsloe, 92, of Pembroke, Massachusetts, formerly of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Weymouth, Massachusetts, died June 28, 2022 following a brief illness.

Barbara is survived by her children, Deborah Springhetti of Massachusetts and Glenn Hall of California, her grandchildren, Kenneth Springhetti of New Hampshire, Evelyn Kilareski of Pennsylvania, and Lisa Sylvester of Massachusetts, her stepchildren, Nancy Boehne, Jeanne Burns, and William E. Winsloe Jr. of Florida, three great-grandchildren, and her brother John Dolan of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband William (Buddy) Winsloe, her daughter Kathryn Wood and her brother Lawrence Simms.

Barbara was born in Boston and graduated from Quincy High School.  She spent most of her career with the United States Postal Service as an arbitrator.

Barbara loved music and was an accomplished pianist.  When she and her husband retired to Florida, they introduced themselves to the community as the Variations musical duet and entertained at many functions in the Bonita Springs area.  Barbara also volunteered at NPR radio station WGCU in Florida for many years.  She was a gourmet cook, an avid Red Sox fan, and she loved to make jewelry, crochet, and read mysteries.   She and her husband traveled the globe and made many friends wherever they went.
