Noyes, Beatrice A., of Quincy, formerly of Green Harbor and New York City, passed away on July 18, 2015 after a long illness, at the age of 80. Daughter of the late Albert E. and Beatrice M. Noyes. Sister of Raymond Noyes and his wife Marcia of Marshfield, Beatrice is also survived by her nieces and nephews Ann Marie McGuire and her husband John of Bloomington MN, Cheryl Noyes of North Weymouth, Steven Noyes and his wife Ying of San Diego CA, R. Andrew Noyes and his wife Jaimie of Marshfield, and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Beatrice was raised in Weymouth and spent summers in Green Harbor. A graduate of Weymouth High School, Beatrice went on to attend UMASS Amherst and received a Doctorate in Education Administration from New York University. During the course of her life, Beatrice traveled extensively,including to Japan and Germany, teaching US military families, but settled in New York where she was a Librarian in the New York City School Department. After retirement, Beatrice resided in Green Harbor year round until she became ill.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Interment Winslow Cemetery.
