Beverly H. (Akstin) Martynowski, of Marshfield, died peacefully at home in the loving care of her family on May 6, 2016. Beverly was the daughter of the late John and Martha Akstin. She was predeceased in 2007 in by her loving husband of 56 years, Edward C. Martynowski, and also predeceased by a daughter, Ann Johnson, in 2014.

Beverly was born and raised in Brockton. She was a homemaker who excelled as a mother as she raised her 5 children. A skilled knitter and master of crochet, Beverly also loved reading and in her later years took up beading, adorning all of her daughters and granddaughters with her creations. Beverly especially loved the times she had with her family. We will all miss her company and her love.

Beverly is survived by her children Karen Kelly and her husband Ed, Edward Martynowski and his wife Donna, Susan Martynowski, and Brian Martynowski, all of Marshfield, a son in-law Ralph Johnson of Florida, and her brother John Akstin of Middleboro. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and last but not least her loving dog, Lulu.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday May 12, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church Green Harbor at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Bourne following the Funeral Mass, at 12:30 pm.
