Brian W. DeCoste, a resident of Marshfield, passed away on August 27, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 58. Brian was the beloved husband of Mary (McCurdy) DeCoste and father of Sean DeCoste, both of Marshfield. He was the dear brother of Kathleen, Sheila, and Paul DeCoste, all of Marshfield, and son of the late Paul J. and Rosemary A. (McTigue) DeCoste.

Brian worked as a self-employed telecommunications engineer but his great passion was the ocean. He loved boating, especially the Marshfield and Duxbury coastlines. A long-time member of the Green Harbor Yacht Club, Brian volunteered with Danny's Journey, bringing the joys of sailing to special needs children and their families. He had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by Danny's Journey / Vigneau Family Sailing Program, P.O. Box 209, Green Harbor, MA 02041.
