Brian John Donoghue of Marshfield, MA, died on October 6.  He was 44 years old.  He was the beloved husband to Jennifer Kish. They were together for 23 years. In addition to Jennifer, he is survived by his children, Ethan Patrick (13) and Molly Rose (10).  Also surviving are Brian's parents, John and Linda (Wright) Donoghue, his grandmother Doris Wright, his sister Megan St. Germain, brother-in-law Austin St. Germain, nephews Andrew and Owen, all of Tewksbury, and his parents-in-law Ronald and Janice Kish of Jersey City, NJ, as well as his extended family of many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brian was known for his generosity and commitment to charity. He was always ready to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever necessary, with a smile. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, skiing and canoeing with friends and family. He was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. He began his career as a professional carpenter who enjoyed challenging projects he stamped with his personal touch. Brian recently circled back to his first passion, cooking. He ran a busy, successful kitchen and flourished in the hospitality industry.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday, October 15 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Celebration of Life reception will take place at The Jetty, 278 Ocean Street in Marshfield, following the funeral service.

The family has worked with Eastern Bank to establish a charitable trust to benefit the Donoghue children.
