Allen, Carol M. (Bennett), of Marshfield, passed away on February 12, 2017 at the age of 77. Carol is the beloved wife of John M. Allen, Sr. and loving mother of John M. Allen, Jr. and his wife Marie of Pennsylvania, Kathleen Fabrizio of Plymouth, Steven Allen of Texas, David Allen of Marshfield, Linda Bamford of Marshfield, and Brian Allen, Sr. and his wife Kathleen of East Falmouth. Carol is the cherished grandmother of John, Chris, Brendon and Evelyn Allen, Ainara and Francesca Gonzalez, Michael Fabrizio, Lauren Santos, Heather, Alicia, Candace, and Katelyn Allen, Jordan, Jonathan, and Joshua Bamford, Eryn and Brian Allen Jr. and June and Stephen Mello, III; as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ralph H. Bennett of Marshfield, Irene Kerrigan of Maine, and Maryanne Newbold of Westford.

Carol lived a life for her family and friends.  She enjoyed many crafts. Whether it was teaching a ceramics class, knitting for her children or grandchildren, or just making special gifts for teachers and friends, Carol was happiest.  She was also enjoyed having her morning coffee at Leo's (when it was a bakery) with her lifelong girlfriends.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139), Marshfield. A Funeral Service will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Winslow Cemetery.
