Carol Burke Sheehan, 87, passed unexpectedly but with her family at her side on October 19, 2024. At the age of 87. She was born in Newport RI on March 3, 1937, the daughter of Charles & Madelyn Barker of Weymouth.

Carol graduated from Sacred Heart School in Weymouth and after taking singing courses at the Berkley School of Music she worked for the New England Telephone Company for many years.

She loved to sing and our house growing up was always filled with her song. She had a passion for boating and being on the water which she got from her father, continued with her first husband Leo and we spent many a weekend and vacations on the boat from Quincy Bay, Boston Harbor, Cotuit to Marthas Vineyard.

She is survived by her children Cindy Conley & husband Walter, Tom Burke & wife Peggy, Steven Burke & wife Annie, Ken Burke & wife Mary, and Joanne Hull. She raised her children with love and devotion in Quincy with her ex-husband Leo Burke. She is also survived by her sister Elaine, otherwise known affectionately as Sister Mary Magdalen. She is survived by her (16) grandchildren and (12) great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her second husband William Sheehan of 20 years and her two sisters Joan Griffin and Linda Barker.

Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace/Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth on November 7th at 10:30 AM. There will be a reception of remembrance after the services at the Elks in Quincy.
