Catherine "Cathy" (Alix) Phillips, 73, passed away on Sept. 22 at home in Bernardston, Mass., after a long illness.

She was the wife of Chester Phillips. They had been married for 51 years. She was the daughter of the late Rudy and Mary Alix. She was a former resident of Cumberland, R.I.

Besides her husband, Chet, she leaves her sister, Chris Kozac of Florida, and cousins.

She lived in Hawaii for five years and Marshfield Mass. for 40 years. She was employed as a condo manager in Hawaii and as a waitress in Marshfield, Mass.

A church service will be held at a later date.
