Obituary

Charles Elphege Archambault, aged 75, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Una Flaherty Archambault, his son John and step-children Theresa, Joseph and Michael Golden. He was a devoted family man and a licensed Pilot who enjoyed flying, camping in all of Americas National Parks, target shooting and was a published Nature Photographer. He worked as a computer operator for State Street Bank in Quincy, MA for more than 30 years and was an avid computer and electronics enthusiast. A native of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Charlie spent many years in his youth working at his uncle Leon's hardware store, and was passionate about putting his knowledge to use on many home improvement projects over the years. Visiting hours will be at the MacDonald Funeral Home in Marshfield, 1755 Ocean St., Rte 3A in Marshfield on Thursday, February 12 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will be given at St. Christine's Parish of Marshfield, 1295 Main St., Rte. 3A on Friday, February 13 at 9:00 AM, and his burial service will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury. There will be a celebratory lunch at Doyle's Cafe in Jamaica Plain, and family and friends are kindly invited.
