Michener, Jr. and the late Karl Michener, Carol leaves her daughters Teri Besse of Lakeland, Fl and her husband Gilbert, Anne Walton of Marshfield and her husband Paul, and daughter in-law Mary Michener of Lakeland Florida. Loving grandmother of Allison Michener Clark, Robert Michener, Kayla Balboni, Joseph Michener III, Taylor and Jayson Michener, Stephanie Besse, Jessica, Kristina, Paul, Jr., and Thomas Karl Walton. Great-grandmother of Brianne Clark and Alayna Michener. Former wife of Joseph J. Michener for 22 years. Carol is predeceased by her siblings Ralph, Sadie, and Fran, and leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Couch Cemetery.
