Cheryl Lynne Tomasi, lovingly known as “Cheri” to her family and friends, passed away on May 11, 2026, after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 7, 1953, in Trenton, Michigan.

Cheri spent many years raising her four children in Duxbury, Massachusetts, before later making her home in Orlando, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Fredric J. Tomasi Sr. of Duxbury, MA.

Cheri found joy in the everyday moments that brought her closer to the people she loved. She was a devoted sports fan, always cheering on Ohio State Football and the New England Patriots. She looked forward to concerts with her children, creating memories that lasted far beyond the music itself.

Some of her happiest times were spent at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, where family trips became cherished traditions. She also enjoyed evenings at the Tampa Hard Rock Casino, always up for a little excitement. Cheri had a special love for the films Top Gun and Dirty Dancing, and she could always find comfort and joy in watching them again and again. She deeply loved animals. Above all, her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her children: Angela (Tomasi) and Ronnie Brown of Orlando, FL, Ric and Liz Tomasi of Plymouth, MA, Anthony and Brittany Tomasi of Rockledge, FL, and Andrew and Courtney Tomasi of Orlando, FL. She was the beloved Nonnie to: Evan, Ella, Sean, Luke, Brady, Addyson, Sev, Lux, Avril, and Trip.

Family and friends are invited to attend services at the McDonald Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed immediately by a graveside service in the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury, MA
