Woodard, Clifton J. 68, of Marshfield, June 28, 2015. Retired Marshfield Firefighter. Beloved husband of Lee (Clapp) Woodard. Loving father of Clifton P. Woodard of Marshfield and Brian M. Woodard and his wife Katelyn of Marshfield. Grampy of Grady and Rosalie Woodard. Brother of Mary Ellen Rush (Dennis) of Southbury, CT, Dorothy McGrath (Ronald) of Marshfield, Kathryn Woodard of Cape Coral, FL, Joyce Bochetti (Joseph) of Ft. Myers, FL, Barbara Anderson (Neil) of Marshfield, Joseph Woodard (Marilyn Smith) of S. Weymouth, Elizabeth McDaniel of Marshfield, and the late James H. Woodard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Clifton was born in Winchester and moved to Marshfield in early 1960. He graduated from Marshfield High School Class of 1966, and after graduation he joined the US Air Force and served in Vietnam. Clifton joined the Marshfield Fire Department 2568 in 1972 and retired in 2006. He served in many capacities while on the Fire Department including the MFD Dive Team. Clifton was a member of Metro-Boston, the Disaster Medical Assistance Team and the District 1 Haz Mat Team. Clifton was a Past Master of the Corner Stone Lodge A.F. & A.M. Duxbury, MA. He was also a Lobster/Fisherman in Marshfield for many years and was a Commercial Pilot.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte 139, MARSHFIELD.

A Funeral from the Funeral Home on Friday at 9:00 AM followed by a Service at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Union St., Marshfield.
