Constance M. "Connie" (Stephenson) De Joie, of Humarock and Nalcrest, FL, passsed away suddenly on January 25, 2021 at the age of 83. Daughter of the late John T. and Helen F. (McKenna) Stephenson, Connie was the beloved wife of John D."Jack" De Joie; loving mother of John D. De Joie, Jr., and wife Linda of Concord, NH, David D. De Joie and Tracy De Joie of Jacksonville, FL, Deborah J. Costantini and husband Fernando of Trumbull, CT, and Dennis J. De Joie and wife Leslie of Marshfield; cherished grandmother of Katherine and Evan, Jennifer, Andew and Christopher, Amanda and Ava, Ashley and Emily, and great-grandchildren Cassidy, Micha, Haley, Kylar, and Kingston. Dear sister in-law of William De Joie, Maria De Joie, and Elizabeth De Joie; Connie also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Connie grew up in Allston, graduated from Saint Columbkille High School, and was Captain of Saint Anthony's Drill Team. She was a vibrant and energetic person who loved gardening, Bingo, Humarock, Vero Beach, and her coffee groups but most of all, Connie loved her family and friends. She will be missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery. Please note that masks/facial coverings are required and social distancing guidelines in effect, inside and outside, of the funeral home and church.
