Corinne E. (Boudreau) Shea of Scituate, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the age of 88. Corinne was predeceased by her husband Donald R. Shea in 2012. Beloved mother of Patrick Shea of Scituate, the late Timmy Shea of Scituate, Clarissa Bell of Scituate, Georgina Moos of San Diego, CA, and Robert Shea of Scituate. Devoted grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Michael Shea of Weymouth, Kylie Shea of Scituate, Patrick Shea of Scituate, Craig Shea of Scituate, Rachel Shea of Weymouth, Brooke (Bell) Cheney of Needham, Leigh-Anne (Bell) Piccolomini of Hingham, Ashley Bell of Weymouth, Heather (Bell) Morti of Pompano Beach, FL, Robyn Bell of Dorchester, Jessica Shea of Weymouth, Sean Shea of Kingston, and Emelia Shea of Plymouth. Corinne was also the great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren whom she cherished.

Corinne was born September 9th, 1934 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to parents Arthur and Georgina (Pettipas) Boudreau, both of Nova Scotia. She was the youngest of 12 children. Corinne attended Weymouth High School and graduated in 1952. She married her husband Donald R. Shea in 1953, after which they went on to start their family in Scituate. Corinne was very involved with her church and spent several years cooking for priests at the rectory. She also worked for the phone company and for Scituate Public Schools. Corinne was an avid cribbage player and talented crocheter and continued to do both well into her later years. She crocheted hats, scarves, mittens and other items and donated them to the homeless as well as the local hospitals.

Corinne had a sharp, witty sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with her family and friends. She loved the holiday season and looked forward to sitting around during the holidays with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her absence will be enormously felt by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 beginning with an hour of visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by a funeral procession to St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street in Scituate Harbor where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clapp Road in Scituate.
