Cyril P. "Rusty" Barry, Jr., of Marshfield, passed away on March 30, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Mary (Sinnott) Barry and father of Blair Brown and her husband Eric of North Carolina, Diana Devine and her husband Don of Marshfield, and Lisa Hill and her husband Howard of Vermont; loving grandfather of Julie Moore, Ian Brown, Katryna Norris, Lucas Brown, Jacob Brown, Rachel DePersia, Kevin DePersia, Debra Richardson, Jennifer Devine, Jeff DePersia, T.J. DePersia, Jessica Devine, Allysa Kelley, Bryan Devine, Katlyn Devine, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Rusty also leaves his sister in-law Judy Barry of New Hampshire and nephews Peter Barry Jr. and his wife Leshun, their children Rebecca and Ryan Barry of Norwell, and Mark Barry and his partner Lori Durning Brighton of Plymouth.

Rusty was an avid outdoorsman, a member of the Marshfield Rod and Gun Club, and Captain of his own fishing vessel. He happily shared his knowledge and passion for hunting and fishing to many in his time and passed along to his children and grandchildren a love and respect for all God's creatures. A proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and a devoted family man, Rusty will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. A Celebration of Life Service will to be held on Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Congregational Church, 1981 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
