Obituary

Dana Bradford Blackman II, of Marshfield, passed away on March 7, 2016 at the age of 75 after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Maureen Phyllis Foy Blackman. Born in Waltham MA, he was predeceased by his parents Bradford Ulmer Blackman and Helen Corlew Josselyn Blackman and his brother in-law, Albert Churchill Call, Jr.

Dana graduated from Marshfield High School in 1958, entered the U.S. Army and served in the Military Police. He worked as a precision machinist at Pneumatic Scale in Quincy for many years and was part owner of Blackman's Point RV and Camping in Brant Rock. Dana was a member of Old Colony Rod and Gun Club, the Marshfield Elks, and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending Sunday's at Haddad's watching the Patriots games with his children and friends.

Dana is survived by Maureen, his loving wife of nearly 48 years; his daughter Kimberley Phyllis Blackman; son Charles Bradford Blackman; son Dana Lewis Blackman, his wife Rebecca and their son John; and son Jeffery Robert Blackman, his wife Tara and their daughter Avery. He is also leaves his sister, Nancy B. Call; his brother Roger B. Blackman and his wife Joan; his brother in-law C. Robert Foy and his wife Frances, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
