Darlene Marie Dryer (Sipola), 66, of Randolph, passed away on February 12, 2025 in Randolph, MA surrounded by her family after a hard fought battle with Congestive Heart Failure born from lifesaving chemotherapy treatment during her teenage years.
Darlene was born in Weymouth to Mary-Ester Sipola and the late Bruce Sipola on December 27, 1958. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Dryer, III, she is survived by her beloved Schnauzer Noodle, her sons Brandon (wife, Melanie) and Shawn (fiance, Melissa). Her mother Mary Sipola. Her sister Patricia Hoesel (husband, Richard). Her nieces and nephews Kevin Sipola Jr. (wife, Sarahbeth), Mykayla, Kristina, Abigail, Brendan and Sarah. Her siblings-in-law Jennifer Cleary (husband, Kevin), Tom, and Paul (wife, Deborah).
She graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1976 and went on to earn her associate's degree from Northeastern University in Medical Laboratory Technology. She worked as a Medical Lab Tech at South Shore Hospital for over 35 years.
Darlene was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend who happily sacrificed so much and asked for nothing but love in return. To her husband she was a best friend and dedicated life partner. To her sons she was the driving force of the family, the one that kept the lights on, the one true source of unconditional love and admiration in their lives. To everyone who met her she was an honest, strong-willed, loyal, and kind-hearted person. Darlene had many passions including gardening, music, bowling, skiing, TV, sports, baking, and crafts but was overjoyed doing anything if it was alongside loved ones or friends.
