David Moeykens of Marshfield passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer at the age of 15. He was surrounded by his favorite people: his mother and father, Lori and William, two sisters, Madison and Riley, twin brother Nathan, and two aunts. David also leaves his grandparents, Helen and David Morrison of Marshfield and Andrew and Joanne Moeykens of Vermont, and was the cherished nephew of Cheryl and Tracy Morrison of Marshfield, Jennifer Karanian of Connecticut, Christine Moeykens of Vermont, and Melissa Deloureiro of North Carolina.

David loved spending every opportunity with his family and friends. David enjoyed swimming, exploring restaurants, and going on adventures with his loved ones. He was known for his love of learning and for his curiosity for life.

David impacted all he met with his compassion, positivity, and genuine love for people and life. Throughout his battle with cancer, he amazed those around him with his strength and resilience, his witty humor, his constant gratitude, and his willingness to give those he loved a hug and say 'I love you.' He inspired those around him to fulfill acts of kindness and to say yes to every adventure despite limitations or fear. He will be remembered as a great listener and an empathetic hero who always wanted to help those around him.

David found his most joy traveling with his mom, playing games with his dad, chatting with his sister Maddie, taking car rides with his sister Riley, and journeying through life with his brother Nathan always by his side. While David's life was incomplete in years, he embraced every opportunity and lived life to the fullest. He will be immensely missed by all who knew him, but he will always be with them in spirit and memory, and his family knows he is now at peace.

David's life will be celebrated at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield from 4- 7pm Monday, June 14th and he will be buried on June 21st with a celebration of life to follow.
