Tilley, David F., Jr., formerly of Green Harbor and Quincy, died peacefully on July 30, 2009 after a long illness, at the age of 70. He was the husband of the late Gale G. (Gunderson). Son of the late David F. Tilley, Sr. and Marie (Bowers) Tilley. Survived by his stepmother Katherine Tilley of Green Harbor. Brother of the late William Tilley. Also survived by sister-in-law Geraldine Tilley, a niece Robin Walsh, grandnephew Jeremy Walsh, grandniece Danielle Walsh and many cousins. David was affectionately known as The Commissioner. David grew up in Milton and Green Harbor. He was a graduate of Norfolk Agricultural School. David remained active in school affairs. He retired from the MBTA and served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 5, at 5 p.m. at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Green Harbor, MA.
