Obituary

David P. Wolfe, a resident of Humarock, MA, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at the age of 70. He is survived by his son, James Wolfe of Scituate, MA and his daughter, Sara Sampson of Lexington, SC.

David was a simple man who knew what truly mattered to him. He didn't care for unnecessary noise or societal expectations; instead, he lived life exactly how he wanted, completely on his own terms. He found genuine contentment in the quiet rhythm of an honest day's work and the comfort of his own passions.

For over 40 years, David poured his dedication into his profession as a house painter. He truly loved his work, a rare gift that showed in the meticulous quality of everything he touched and the respect he earned throughout his long career.

His artistry extended far beyond his professional life. David was an exceptionally talented artist who found great joy in the quiet, focused craft of building intricate model cars and ships. His patience and eye for detail turned simple kits into magnificent pieces of art, a reflection of the deep focus and authenticity he brought to his days.

When he wasn't working or creating, David appreciated the simple pleasures of his community. He could frequently be found at his favorite local spots, enjoying a quiet morning coffee to start the day or a relaxed beer after work. He will be deeply missed by many, but his legacy will live on through the family and friends who knew, loved, and respected him.
