Dean Freeman Archer, 60, of Alton, NH, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021 at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH. Dean was born in Jamaica Plain and lived most of his life in Marshfield before moving to New Hampshire. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School and Diesel Mechanic School, Cleveland, Ohio.

Dean was son of the late Robert F. and Marilyn (Sinnott) Archer of Marshfield; dear father of Jacob F. Archer (Michelle) of Seattle, Washington, Meredith L. Reimer (Sean), Melanie C. and Joseph R. Archer of of Marshfield; and grandfather of Sierra Archer of Seattle, Washington. Cherished brother of Terry Jonides (Joseph) of Plymouth, Robin Archer-Armstrong (David) and Karen Hite (Jon) of Marshfield, he also leaves his beloved dog and companion, Ella, who traveled everywhere with him.

Dean was a very kind, loving, and selfless man; always lending a helping hand, giving from the heart to others. His passions were walking on the beach, listening to music, and working with "found" wood, creating cribbage boards, signs and sculptured pieces, gifting many to family and friends.

Family and close friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service and reception on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Marshfield Elks Lodge, 1321 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
