Deborah A. (Ross) Swift of Plymouth, a long-time resident of Marshfield, passed away on September 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 72. Deborah leaves her devoted husband of 43 years, Joseph Swift. She was the loving mother of Amanda Flaherty and her husband Daniel of Hanson, Kaitlyn Foy and her husband Joey of Pembroke, and Jason Swift and his wife Erica of Marshfield; cherished grandmother of Grace, Savannah, Declan, and Frankie Jay; dear sister of Carla Coombs and her husband Richie of Holbrook, Maribeth MacAskill and her husband Peter of Marshfield, Nora Hixon and her husband Steven of Rhode Island, Paul Ross, Jr. and his long-time girlfriend Michelle Coates of Florida, Michael Ross and his wife Colleen of Mansfield, and the late Stephen Ross. Deborah also leaves a sister in-law, Karen Ross of Stoughton, and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston, Deborah was a resident of Mattapan and a graduate of Hyde Park High. She worked as an airline stewardess for Delta Airlines when she was young and spent the remainder of her career in the mortgage business.

Deb was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many. She cherished and loved her family above all else. Being a Nana to her four grandchildren was her greatest joy in life. She will live on in the memories of her devoted family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 392 Hanover Street in Hanover.
