Denise Marie Kelley, of Marshfield, passed away February 03, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by friends and family. She was the beloved companion of retired USAF Lt. Col. Francis X. Kelley, Jr. and loving mother, and mother-in-law of John and Alison Kelley of Irving, TX, Andrew and Stephanie Kelley of Barnstead, NH, and Ronald and Elizabeth Morrissey of Marshfield, MA. She leaves behind her sister Dawna Reitz, and her two brothers, Peter Keelan and Gregory Keelan. She is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Virginia Keelan, her nephew Timothy Malone, her brother-in-law Homer Reitz, and mother and father-in-law, Francis X. Kelley, Sr and Mary Kelley.

Denise was born April 1st, 1954 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, MA and raised in Marshfield. She graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton in 1972. During her summers, Denise would work at her Uncle Edward's Horse and Dog Track in New Hampshire. Denise and Francis married in 1975. During their marriage, they lived in several locations, in Maine, North Dakota, California and Louisiana. She was there for the advancement and promotion from Captain to Lieutenant Colonel. They shared their retirement in both Barnstead and Marshfield.

The friends and family would like to thank the staff at South Shore Hospital (ICU, CCU, and Emerson 3) for their dedication, comfort and care she received during her final moments. She is deeply loved and will be missed by many.

In lieu of a traditional wake and funeral, there will be A Celebration of Life in the summer located at the beach. It was always her favorite place.
