Dennis F. McDonald of Marshfield passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 76.

Dennis was the youngest of three boys raised by Walter and Frances McDonald in Watertown, MA. He graduated from Watertown High School and after graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy. Dennis was assigned to the U.S.S. Hunley, a submarine tender, and achieved the rank of E5 Second Class Boatswain Mate. The ship was docked in Naples, Italy for two years and Dennis was assigned shore duty. The following two years the ship was docked in South Carolina.

After honorable discharge from the Navy, Dennis returned to Watertown and worked in retail sales. He also worked as a van driver, transporting students to and from school.

Dennis loved being with family and friends. He was loved by all and will be missed.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by interment in the Couch Cemetery.
