Sullivan, Dennis M. of Marshfield and Canton, passed away on April 24, 2014 at the age of 48, surrounded by his loving family. Loving son of John F. and Sheila (Walsh) Sullivan of Marshfield. Dear brother of John F. Sullivan Jr., and his wife Susan of Marshfield, Brendan Sullivan and his wife Yvette of Norwell and Jennifer L. Sullivan and Matthew MacDonald of Sharon. Loving uncle of Sean, Kyle and Maeve Sullivan and Jessica Banco. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Dennis was a graduate of Marshfield High School, class of 1983. He was the captain of the MHS soccer team. Dennis was also active in baseball, basketball and football. He graduated from North Adams College where he earned two degrees in Chemistry and Biology. Dennis worked at the VA Hospitals in Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury for 26 years as a Medical Technologist. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Tuesday, April 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, April 30 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main St., Rte. 3A at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Couch Cemetery.
